Andy Roddick To Marry Brooklyn Decker

It's official. Andy Roddick and Brooklyn Decker are engaged. I saw them together in Portland, Oregon, last December at the Davis Cup celebration and they seemed, well, quite into each other. And if the gargantuan rock she's wearing is any indication...

The happy couple met in New York City last year and have been dating since. Andy proposed earlier this month. With their hectic travel schedules, Andy and Brooklyn plan to enjoy their engagement and will wait to set a wedding date.

Congratulations and good luck.

Come on Craig, put up the post on the beatdown that happened today. Oh yes, who says the Queen is not focused and determined. Man I did not even want to watch the scoreboard today I was so concerned that I may have jinxed her. This is too good. Oh yes, 2 and love - thats the way to do it. The No. 1 player gets bagelled in 2 of the 3 biggest tournaments of the year and by so-called ball bashers - whats that thing again - power trumps style

Hey karen, I'm sure he's working on it. Man oh man, it must have been a beatdown. Congrats to Serena.
Re: Andy and Brooklyn, congrats as well. I didn't think Andy was ready for one woman, but hey, she's a looker, so I wish them all the happiness in the world. I read some of his interview at Miami, he says she's 'really really smart' - I like that he said this. And that he's trying to keep the media off that subject.
Vamos Rafa! Take down PMH!

Hey Oddman, man this is the happiest day of my life. I thought when Kevin Anderson took out the Joker I was ecstatic but this win right here has me doing cartwheels in the office. As to Andy, he is what 26 years old, at some point in time you need that stability in your life and I think he is maturing as a player (the infrequent outbursts are a sign of that) and as a young man. He is more measured and taking responsibility for himself. Good on him that he is thinking of settling down etc. Now if only Fed would stop the rumour mill and get married to that wonderful young lady, then all will be right with the world.

As long as he keeps winning tennis matches, who cares what he does in his personal life? Actually, she looks like a really nice, sweet girl. A tad young, but hey, I was 21 when I got married (and we're still together 5 years later), so it can happen. Best of luck to them!!
