It's the third week of April and Roger Federer rallied from a set down and two games from defeat to advance to his first final of the season on his worst surface: the red clay of Europe.
Who'd have thunk it?
If such irony continues, he'll win Roland Garros at the beginning of June.
Meantime, he'll want to beat the Russian with the new magic racquet in the Estoril Open final tomorrow.
Does Nikolay Davydenko have another first-time victory over an opponent in him?

And the word on the street is that he has a big ass zit on his face that he may have to undergo surgery to remove. Boy, 2008 is just not the year of the Fed. Methinks he needs to sit this one out. Poor baby.
What is that on Roger's face?
For some reason, I'm not too worried about tomorrow.
The way Roger's been playing lately, and how Kolya's Magic Racket has been doing, I think the Russian has a very good chance to claim another title. Fed looked rather shaky today until the very end of the second set. I just hope Davydenko puts up some fight for a change against Fed.
I wonder if Fed will even make the final at Roland Garros.
Davy and the Magic Racket, anyone write children's books? I smell a best seller.
'Does Nikolay Davydenko have another first-time victory over an opponent in him?' - apparently not. Retired with an injury. Too bad.
