As We Speak

Venus Williams and Jelena Jankovic are involved in a break-fest over in Rome. The match isn't on television, but in 10 games played, there have been 8 breaks of serve. Venus just served for the first set, but alas, the score is now 5-5.

Earlier, Serena Williams gave Alize Cornet a walkover into the semifinals citing a back injury.

Talk amongst yourselves.

What, no interest in women's tennis. I dont think the Venus/JJ matchup is a good one. Have I said that I dont particularly care for JJ and her stalling tactics on court. Cold, stuffy nose, not breathing. This has been going on since the beginning of the year. What does this girl have? Thought she had surgery last year to relieve breathing difficulties, yet she complains at every match that she is on antibiotics and is having trouble breathing.

I am tired of V losing to Weird Jelena. About 10 years ago, (long time I know), V was winning Rome, Berlin, Warsaw etc... This post makes me sound nostalgic and silly, but I don't care.
