LOL! HOH Kiefer. (grin)
Vamos, Rafa! Love the shorter hair, makes him look younger, as if he needed that.
vamos Rafa! congrats to Kiefer. I hope Rafa takes this one
Murray has some zip on his shots. So far, this is not the shotmaking contest we saw last night from Gasquet, but he's hanging in and doing well. Stay the course, Rafa!
Murray has to hit hard and harder otherwise he has no chance.
So that muscle he showed us all in Wimby is really there, isn't it. Good on him, he always looked so frail and weedy in past.
(contrast that with his opponent, though...)
C'mon, Rafa, break soon!
Murray seems to have hurt his knee, he should see the trainer.
Sorry, I meant the doctor :?
Yeah, he might be injured.... too bad. Let's wait and see, perhaps not.
More forehand errors from Murray. Canadian announcers saying it might be something with his leg.
First set Rafa!
first set for Rafa, but Murray seemed mad, I don´t know if it´s because of the umpire or for the injury
Wow, what a first game! Great dropshot, then he stones the volley - arrgghhh. How about that lob - Rafa's lobbing skills are underrated, imo.
Do you think he took just a bit of heart out of Andy? I hope so. Squash him down, Rafa.
yes, oddman a lot of erros from Murray. Sometimes Murray´s leg seems to be a problem and other times he seems just fine
@#$$%#.. Murray having a much easier time holding serve tonight than Rafa. Seems like Rafa having to fight so hard just to stay in there. Ugh.
yes, I think that Murray lost his rhythm and specially after those saves from Rafa, but he seems to be coming back playing more aggressively. He´s hitting as hard as he can
Holy crap! Where'd you get that Volandri pic?
(fans self)
sorry but my service is slow :0
Rafa breaks!
Oh, crap. Rafa's just not playing as well tonight as last night, from what I'm seeing. Back on serve. Bad game there. Sigh.
Bloody ump! Friggin' time warning? On break point down? Asshole... and I don't think he's been any slower than usual. #$$%%##!!!
Rafa not nearly as settled tonight - is he feeling the pressure here of possibly reaching the finals? Settle down, my boy, please!
i really dislike this umpire :=?...PLEASE RAFA DO SOMETHING. I mean he´s holding serve but really costs him to hold serve
well not his best tennis tonight but he´s serving for the match. Hold your serve PLEASE!
well Murray is just frustrated
RAFA WINS! although I really didn´t like his gam today, but I am really happy he got through
You're right, sgh07, I didn't think he played that well at all. Don't know if that had to do with Murray and his great return game or what - some anger at the umpire too. Haven't seen Rafa let stuff like that get to him, or at least let it show that it's getting to him, for a while.
Regardless, he's through to another Rogers Cup final! WhooooooHoooo!
Bonus - he'll gain some points whatever the outcome tomorrow. And methinks he'll take out Mr. Heavy.
OMG, I was just reading again my posts, and they look awful. I was trying to write as quick as possible while watching the match..hehehe...
I completely agree with you Oddman.Murray played really great, and I think he really must feel frustrated. I mean, he played that great and still lost but I think he just can´t control himself and let anger get to him. I think he´s good player and has improved a lot.
I really hope Rafa can play a good match tomorrow. I know that people say Rafa can´t do well in hardcourts, but I'm confident he'll make necessary adjustments.
So, it's His Heaviness against His Bottomness, no?
Push vs Pull? (oooh, spank me for that one)
oddman that's too funny.
Chortle!
tonight, my internet service´s much slower than Rafa´s preparation to serve!!!!grrrrrrr
lol, oddman that phrase killed ¨Push vs pull¨...jajajajja
