What would American tennis be without the sisters?

There would be no American tennis. I was shocked and angry this morning when I turned on my tv and I was watching the tennis (finally, thank you USA Network) and I looked in the audience and the amount of people that were there from the USA cheering on the sisters was minimal at best, whilst for Spain there was a full contingent of flags etc. I looked and I am sure I did not see Ms. Lindsay Davenport or Ms. Liezel Huber. I was angry because I only Lori McNeil and Zina Garrison and a whole host of chinese, as well as some folks from other countries cheering on the Williams Sisters. To answer the question again, there would be no American tennis if not for the Williams Sisters. Thank you Richard and Oracene for giving us these 2 truly great champions.

I loved that the sisters won the doubles! Glorious for both of them - way to go, Serena and Venus! They looked incredibly proud to be standing on that podium, listening to their anthem, how sweet for them to do this together again.
The Fabulous Twosome!

Great for them. I really wanted Serena to win in singles, but she flubbed that big time for some strange reason. Fatigue of a late night match after a 4 hour rain delay? No matter, they brought home Gold for the USA. Congrats!
