I haven't been able to watch any of these matches. However, that being said, I am kind of rooting for Davydenko. Not sure why because I'm a huge Nadal fan. I hope the match is not lopsided and that Davydenko brings it.
Beth! I'm shocked! hee hee
So far, Rafa won first set. Looking good, getting into the groove a bit more later in the set.
Vamos, Rafa! I'll never get tired of you playing on clay!
(or grass, or hardcourts, or ice, or gravel, or beach sand, or underwater, or...)
Kolya managed to pull that second game out!
Morning girls!
That one game took so long, I cooked and at breakfast and it was still going on.
Rafa's been leaving the ball short a few too many times for my liking, but conditions may be affecting that somewhat. Good to see Kolya coming out with some clean ball striking -- too bad he can't find consistency in it.
Well, Rafa takes it in straights. No surprises.
My money's on Ferrer as a dark horse! I think he may do well at Roland Garros this year...
Rafa was too good. I bet the finals are gonna be pretty muchh the same.
P.S - Craig and everyone else, I have started my own blog, and I would love it if you guys check it out!

I see that Ferrer and Gonzalez are playing aggressive, first-strike tennis on clay.
Just saying.
I was watching the match, but as much as I love Rafa it was so blah that I went to sleep assured that Rafa would win.
I was right. I penciled in Ferrer days ago - seems I was correct there too. Gonzo has the aggressive game to beat anyone on any given day - he just lacks consistency.
I even tried watching Fed Cup, I couldn't do it. The court and it's color was too much for me.
And as soon as I said that, Ferrer gets broken while serving for the match. lol
Gonzo broke to stay in the match. Back on serve in the third.
Gonzo gets to 5-5 in the tiebreak and then double faults.
Eff him.
lol Craig. Ferrer finally won it.
Ferrer doesn't like it easy but Rafa will. 2 easy sets to the title for Rafa tomorrow.
Thanks to everyone for the play-by-play. I could not find this on Tennis Channel or ESPN. Where are you all watching these matches, online? And, oddman, I know it's weird for me to root for Davydenko. Sometimes I just look at him and he's so frail looking to me. I want to feed him a sandwhich and pat him on the back. ;-)
If any of you have been watching online, could you please let me know which site(s) to try? I had a subscription to TennisTv but it lapsed and I cannot renew it right now.
Beth, I often go to tennis.com, or Vamos Brigade (you have to register there), and usually somebody's posted a link to the matches. A good usual one to try is www.channelsurfing.net - you may get the broadcasts in Spanish, Russian, or even Mandarin (a hoot!), but at least you can see the match on screen. I don't have TennisTV either.
There was a replay (?) on Tennis Channel this afternoon.
Thanks so much! I will see what I can get tomorrow. :-)
Hi , Madhur -- congrats on your new blog. ! make sure you post your link on other message boards too. :-)
