what nobody watched the match. Glad to see C-Woz moving on to the final. I think this is the first time that I have actually seen Dementieva out-run (is that the right term) in a match. Not only did C-Woz use her fitness, speed and court sense to befuddle LenaD but she had awesome groundstrokes that she used to perfection. She had a bit of a wobble in the second set but she held her nerve and closed out LenaD in 3. Good on her. And how about that Sabine. She basically beat poor Bartoli like she stole something. Would have liked to see Bartoli in the final as I would like to see how her return game and movement would match up against C-Woz. The FO is looking very good right about now as regards prospects on both the men's and women's sides. I think the WTA is finally sorting itself out

I didn't watch it, Karen. Not much interest in Wozniacki or Dementieva at the moment.

I do like Sabine Lisicki. Great attitude. And I'll always have a soft spot in my heart for Maid Marion.

But alas, farming trumped the WTA yesterday.

Craig, I cannot recall seeing Sabine play, but people have said that she beat LindsayD in Fed Cup. I am thinking that I remembered that match and the fact that the girl was serving and playing lights out against Lindsay. Heres hoping for a good final. putting potatoes in the oven and doing other stuff for dinner - yaay end of Lent, so steak for dinner today. oh yeah and a nice glass of merlot to wash it all down - sauteed mushrooms in a nice cream sauce - steam veges - oh yes

Lisicki can serve, return, hit a mean forehand, a wicked backhand, and a fierce dropshot.

If she has the mentality and develops the consistency, she can be a champion. She's surely got the talent.

I'm playing wait-and-see, but I like her game a lot.
