Just have to say "Congratulations Spain!" The Armada earned another final! Vamos!
I have always found it interesting that there are always extremely hard fought matches in Davis Cup.
Almost every round there's one or two 5-set epics involving players that one wouldn't normally pick.
With exceptions, the players seem to throw themselves into their Davis Cup matches more so than their regular tour matches, it seems.
Another DC for Spain. 4 since year 2000.
what is davids cup?
You´re right. Let´s abolish the Davis Cup and create a ten month US OPEN! Wait, even better: let´s convert all tennis tournaments in baseball or American football tournaments! WOW! That would be great!
Damian, Dapxin is a newbie to following tennis. He really doesn't know what Davis Cup is all about. He wasn't putting it down.
Then I apologise, Craig and Dapxin. It´s my fault, too much emotions yesterday (qualification for the final, and victory in the Eurobasket 2009 ;).
Speaking of Spain and children thereof....Craig, you need to change Rafa's ranking to number 2 on your right side bar. :-)
Here's an interesting trivia:
Serving 78 aces is not a guarantee of a win in a 3-set match.
*sigh*
