now that I am in London,
do I get to be treated as the blog-host or something ? :-)
I think this will attract more attention that that doha thing by n large.
London gets attention.
Wow Dapxin I'm thinking of you in there somewhere as I watch online.
As always, the commies have their pet -- in this case Murray.
Good to see DelPo starting to find his game by getting one break back in the opening set.
Does anybody have a link for this match? I can't find one. Thanks
Mara, go to fromsport.com and choose the tennis tab
You can also
download Zattoo from http://zattoo.com/
and watch in terrific BBC 2 High Quality.
I am not sure it wont be geoblocked in some countries tho.
I just tuned in, and the setting looks more like who wants to be a monthly transfer
hoho, I meant who wants to be a millionaire
Dapxin, you crack me up.
goodness me!
How about that Del Potro forehand?
Bomb!
Ok! I have seen enough of this,
to know its going only one
way----DelPotro's.
Murray is too defensive. wrong?
well. Murray shots me in the tongue!
Or.
DelPotro loses his act.
well well well.
actually, murray shot* me.
lol.
Dapxin I felt the same as you at that point in the game. I didn't like the way Murray pulled in his horns and became over-defensive.
But in the end I think DelPo lost because his level of play went down.
I see verdasco won the set - unfortunately the stream I can access is so jerky that I missed that part...
I was out on the farm and missed the final set of the first match and most of the first set of this one.
Good stuff.
Love the lights in London.
You can also watch the games on
https://www.bet365.com/home/default.asp?
if you are not geoBlocked.
I'm surprised it took Raja this long to win a set against this ... this ... player.
Hi dax - unfortunately I saw your message too late but thx for the link.....
Maybe I'll need it for the 3rd set....
You can hear the relief in the commies' voices.
Craig..... yes surprised also, especially given that Verdasco is supposed to be injured as well..... would love to see a great fight in the 3rd but wary of getting my hopes up.....
The bits I saw Fed made some silly mistakes at the wrong moments.... Then later it seems that V's level of play was reminiscent of their AO match...
oops - correction to AO match - they did not play there...... I am thinking of some big hardcourt match where V played miserably against Fed.... (indian wells?)
Anyway look like he gave up the early break already....
I can't/don't root for Verdasco.
I won't be at all disappointed when Raja wins this.
Well, Verdasco had his chances, but it doesn't look like he really believed in himself. Now he seems to be just going through the motions, flailing wildly.
The commies, are, as always, delighted to be able to heap praise upon the head of their Anointed One.
Craig
If you don't mind explaining..... what is it that you don't like about Verdasco? The mental frailty?
HelenW - yes, he really checked out..... even worse than I feared....
I have to say I left the match to go some football goals review onTV.
If you dont belief you can win, at least try to play as tho you want to win.
He left for his london bed long time ago. Verdasco. boring
daxpin - completely agreed.... I didn't try to watch the end either
b,
Here you go.
Maybe he misspoke. But since no one challenged him and gave him the opportunity to clarify his remark, it remains as is in my mind.
