Senor David must be standing on a step. He can't be that tall. Rafa is easily 2-3 inches taller. (RF sh/be 6'1", Daveed 5'10"?)
Great job, both, for the glory of Spain! T'will be tough for Switzerland next year ... ooooh, can't wait!
Love his eyes.. he looks like he's put smokey eyeshadow on, but they're just that shade and color... such a goodlooking young man. Yes, edma1022, David is 5'10" at most, I think, Rafa is 6'1".
Sorry to go O/T but sometimes you see some gems written by writers and it really does make you wonder. Saw this over at tennis.com recently to describe a player. "The Belarusian's play in the first half of the year announced her as a starlet in the making, and the poise she showed in defeating Serena Williams in the Key Biscayne final seemed to clinch her status as the "next big thing" in the women's game: She's athletic and powerful, blond and bubbly".
Anyone interested in watching the Elton John/Billie Jean King exo a link is here

Craig, can we have a post just to discuss stuff. I hate making comments on this particular post as I feel I am disrespecting Rafa fans who may want to come and post something about the Armada victory. That being said, have you seen the interview given by Justine to the Times when she talks about her fear of the WS on grass, especially Venus. If anyone was of the view that the WS were doing well because of Justine's absence I guess they can put that thought out of their minds now.
Carsomyr, if I was confident that you wished to engage in a debate about tennis, I would no doubt engage you as you seem like a reasonable human being. Unfortunately, I get the feeling that you are really just trying to instigate some type of an argument in which neither of us will come out saying nice things and we would perhaps end up having Craig spend all his time deleting both of our posts. If it is that you wish to engage in a serious discussion with regard to the issue of sportsmanship and/or gamesmanship I am quite happy to do so. I await hearing from you.
Oh, Lord.
Forget about it.
