So much for letting it stay close in the dead rubbers. No one can stop Spain on their clay, even if Nadal were to sit out. Amazing stuff.
That 5-set comeback win by Ferrer really took the win out of the Czech sails.
I hope all the great tennis athletes enjoy their minuscule break.
Can I say that I'm really amazed that Nadal and Ferrer - especially Nadal - played the dead rubbers? Wow - never would have guessed that. Even more ironic is that berdych and Radek did not.
